Assuming you mean a financial settlement.... two options
1) Binding financial agreement .... No court involvement, but both parties need to receive independent legal advice on the advantages & disadvantages of entering into the agreement, & have a document from each lawyer confirming that the advice has been given.

Filing fee of about $170 .... The application gets checked over by a court registrar... If accepted, it's stamped & becomes final orders by consent
