Afternoon all,

Just wondering where this would sit with immigration law and obtaining permanent residency.

Generally, if someone took out an intervention order after having their spousal visa cancelled, then subsequently withdrew the IVO for a place of an undertaking.

I know an IVO can help with permanent residency, but where does an undertaking fit into things?

Thanks for any input.

Hi,
Domestic Violence (Intervention order) might only help the victim who also is a certain type of visa applicant.
For more details on how Domestic Violence ( Family Violence) affect the visa applicant, please refer the information under the tag "Family Violence & Visa" on our website.
