I was pulled over by an undercover car for speeding. The officer asked why, to which I replied I was anxious to get home. I didn't bother to elaborate. I broke the law as I told him, and had to accept the consequences. That consequence was a loss of my drivers licence for 1 month, effective in a month's time.

Am I able to ask for when I serve this time period or is this set firmly by dates and traffic law?

I'm very remorseful, I was doing 27km over the limit. I'm from Victoria.

If you got a ticket at the time, the suspension starts 28 days after receiving it.

No you can't ask to change the suspension dates.
