Legal to Add Free Products to Minimum Advertised Price Products?

Is it legal to add free products to products with a minimum advertised price? Say the minimum advertised price is $200, can I chuck in an extra item valued at $10 and say the extra item is free? Or is that illegal?

This question pertains mainly to the United States law.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
