NSW Legal Aid Approved Family Dispute Resolution - When Do They Inform Ex?

I've been on hold all morning trying to get an answer from them, and I'm wondering if they will inform my ex straight away, or is it only once I've contacted the lawyer they've appointed me with? Also, any idea on the waiting times for Legal Aid approved Family Dispute Resolution?

It is slow. Can't remember what happens first, but I think your legal aid solicitor will contact the ex.

Waiting times? How long is a piece of string? I'd be thinking Feb - March next year.
