This ones for fun and I'm hoping someone can settle a poorly worded bet between friends 🤣 What is the legal definition of 'unable'?
The bet was regarding whether "we will be unable to camp as a group in September" or not.
Person A says that Person B had to bend the COVID rules in order to go camping so Person B lost the bet as they believe they weren't all technically able to go. The premise of Person A making the bet was that he believed there would be some sort of restrictions in place in September which would forbid at least one person from being able to go on the trip.
Person B says that everyone went camping so they were able to go and won the bet. They also believe they followed the COVID rules which is a separate matter.

As mentioned above, establishing whether a COVID rule was actually broken is another matter. It was a transport operator that drives through hotspots and then fills out a border pass when returning home to QLD. The completed border pass has the following conditions upon returning home to QLD:
Would going camping with 14 days in isolation fulfill these requirements? Or would you say they were unable to go on the trip?
