The obvious - to get them treated.
Also - for them to be properly recorded; to avoid a possible future cross examination as to why and whether your injuries were actually serious; to mitigate further injury and degradation caused by not getting your injuries treated; so that you can get a specialist report underway by someone who can observe the injuries before any healing sets in; to create a timeline.... and so on.

I don’t practise in personal injuries, so I’m unable to answer your question.

Hi ellispalmos - I just saw your post and not sure if you had assistance with your second question.

1. Telling doctor about your injuries: I completely agree with Rob Legat. When it comes to insurance or compensation matters, the insurer will heavily rely upon medical evidence and reports. If you do not provide sufficient details to your doctor then the insurer wouldn't know the severity of your injury, hence your claim may not continue.

2. Steps for claiming compensation: This depends on how and where your injury occurred. ie;

- if your injury occurred during work then you can claim Workers Compensation.
- if your injury occurred in a motor vehicle accident then you may claim for Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation
- if your injury occurred inside a shop, mall, someone's house due to their negligence then you may put forward a Public Liability Claim.

Hence depending on how your injury occurred and where it occurred will determine the claiming compensation process.

I hope this answers your question.

Kind regards

It is of course important to tell the doctor about your injuries. How will he treat you? Of course, not trusting the doctor and modern methods of treatment is normal, but if even the most obvious ones seem abnormal to you, it’s somehow abnormal) But the doctor should seriously talk about your problems, sores, where you fell, how did you fall and so on. But there are such injuries about which one cannot but tell the doctor. Let's say injuries in the car, if something happened to you in the car, you must definitely tell the doctor. And often the treatment of these injuries requires a lot of money and money for the treatment of injuries can be obtained only if you are not to blame for a car accident and another driver is to blame. And for this you need a quality lawyer whom you can find on the website medical malpractice lawyer, there are almost in all professions that can help you with a trial with a doctor and an accident in a car. You can always count on the lawyers from this firm because they are trained at the highest level and are always ready to help.
