Hi,

I am a self-represented litigant (defendant) in a civil case against my company (I am a director of that company).

I want to make sure that I have the procedure for submitting evidence correct. There are court orders by which I have to submit evidence by a certain date, I assume I have to:

1. Gather the evidence and write an affidavit to say the evidence is correct to the best of my knowledge

2. Get a JP to witness the document

3. Lodge the document at the court and send it to the plaintiff?

Apologies for what is possibly a very simple procedure, I just can't seem to find a document that outlines this on the court websites.

Thanks!

Hi,
You may pass a court and ask the staff over there, they may give you some directions. Just a thought!
