Hello all, I'm not sure if I'm in the correct forum. We have a secretary in our strata complex where a small minority believe that he is using the OC's funds for repairs within his own lot i.e not common property. Recently, we have had common property plumbing works conducted yet a couple of us have witnessed the plumber go into the unit of the secretary. The works were all external. A couple of us requested the scope of works and eventually we received them from the plumber via the SM. 2 invoices were presented , identical dates, job numbers etc, total amounts are identical. The invoices included very detailed scope of works. The 1st invoice had a variation for an activity related to the works and the second identical invoice, had a variation for tiling works on non common property. Then 1 of the owners contacted the plumbing company and spoke to a helpful staff member who went through the scope of works, confirmed there were no tiling works. And ideas on how we should proceed? This secretary refuses to give up their position and they have their bullying friends vote for them. There are many anomalies in the running of the building.
