If I signed my property settlement about four years ago and its was signed with the threat of my family suffering if I did not as I was living in New Zealand at the time and my ex used my daughter and grandchildren, said he would hurt them, so I did as i could not get any legal help at the time. Is there any legal recourse under family law as he basically took what he wanted, he had spent time in psychiatric wards and already assaulted one of my sons so I was scared not to comply.

Hello, I am not a lawyer to give you legal advise.
For the purposes of property settlement, was your matter heard in Australia?
