If the case of family court orders obtained for children's matters and property settlement complete, is there anything else to be taken care of in the event that neither party files for divorce?

Of course, marrying a new person is not possible but is there anything else that I may not be aware of?

Wills and estates. If one party dies, the assets of the deceased will automatically go to the next of kin, which is the husband or wife where there is no will stating otherwise, and even if there is a will, the 'next of kin' can probably still claim some portion of the deceased's estate unless they're divorced.
