Hi there,

My house sits right on the boundary. The side wall of my weatherboard house is the boundary to the neighbour. Some years ago (before I bought the house), the neighbour raised a garden bed some 400m and the dirt of that garden bed sits against the wall with no protection in place.

Over time, the water has damaged the weatherboard and water has come through the substrate, undermining and damaging my floor on that side of the house.

Where do I go from here? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Get estimates together for repair works, then send a demand letter. When that fails see a lawyer for to escalate to court. We can assist at any stage of the process.
