Hello,

I currently opperate my personal training business as a contractor through a gym. My contract ended over 1 year ago, within this time there have been two new gym managers who have not spoken to me about my contract needing top be renewed, I don't think they even know the details of my contract.
I am wanting to move my business to a different area, would I still need to give the 4 weeks notice stated in the contract? I was required to pay a bond at the beginning of my contract I would like to get that back without arguments.

Thankyou for taking the time to read
Tanase

Hi Tanase, I would think the terms and conditions of your contract have carried or held over to now so 4 weeks notice is probably required.

Like most PTs who work through gyms,
you're probably in an (unlawful) sham contracting arrangement anyway.
That said, I agree with @Paul Cott above.
Give them the four weeks notice, in writing; get your money, and move on.
