If your partner lies to police and says you pulled her hair and shoved her out the way and you never and there is no evidence can I be charged

Up to the police to lay charges. They could.... Being found guilty & convicted in a court of law is another matter. Would depend on proving beyond reasonable doubt that the assault actually occured, & taking into account any mitigating factors,ie, provocation, self defense for example.
