SA Do you need to continue paying a policy after making a claim

I made a claim on an income protection policy four years ago which has not been resolved. I have retired and no longer need this insurance. Do I need to continually pay this policy while the claim is still in dispute?

No. There is no time limit on making a claim or arguing about an old claim well after the policy is cancelled or lapsed.
