My partner was granted a 100 visa in March last year abroad ( currently lives overseas) and has to come to Australia to activate it. Issue is I want to divorce him now. How can I go about it without him losing his visa because we have kids? When he comes in and validates it can I divorce him whenever after? I’m told he’ll be a permanent resident already so I can. Or should I wait a period of time? We filled and filed together I just don’t want it to affect his ability to see his kids.
