I have gained new employment in the health service field end of March, but still waiting to start due to covid-19.
My job service provider has asked for my contract of employment, and am hesitant as don't feel this is legal as it's confidential.
Have I a right to refuse request please? I am happy to tell them my pay rate and hours, which is all they really need to know.
Thanks in advance for any clarification on this matter.

They'll need it as proof they placed you, so they can get paid.

I've always found my own work. They've been more a headache for me, as always had work (casual) but limited hours so was eligible to qualify for top up from DSS.
I was under the belief that you can't disclose contract of employment to any unauthorised third parties.
Thanks for reply. 😊

Well if they didn't place you, and didn't have anything at all to do with you getting the job,
then what else would they want it for?

Because I'm still on their books. I think 6mths you stay on the system even after picking up employment.

Need to see the terms of your engagement to know.

I've always found my own work.

Why 'stay on the 'books'?

Technically you may be off the books if you always find your own work.

Refuse telling them why and see what they respond with.
