I've done during my holiday a small job in Spain and got paid on my Paypal account. I would like to declare this income. I have no problem with paying taxes, but with my current 457 Visa, I'm not supposed to have any other job than the one I currently have.

I'm very worried that I will lose my visa and my job.

Thank you for your help.

Sorry, I may have missed something but if you earned the money outside of Australia and it's not from an Australian employer, I don't believe you are breaching your 457 visa. My understanding is that the intent is that you do not work for another employer within Australia or another Australian employer.

I'm not sure of the tax implications but I'm not entirely convinced that needs to be declared either. You can make an anonymous phone call to the department Immigration and border protection Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm on 131 881. Detail your situation and they should be able to confirm what needs to be done if anything.
