NSW Debt without contract or paperwork!

I am an international student who got a loan from my ex girlfriend when we were in a relationship without any contract or paperwork! I have been trying to pay back little by little through instalments but it has slowed down recently due to covid and all!
Now she is threatening me with getting lawyers and deportation, can someone please help as I have always been communicative with her and have not committed anything wrong!

She can't get you deported, don't worry about that.

I hope you have been keeping records of some sort of the payments back to her?

If she threatens you with a lawyer, then say
"Well, go on then!".

Yes, I have the bank transfer records on the statement.
I am just worried if she gets a lawyer and all It my affect records? As in if I want to apply for visa or residency in the future.

Pay the debt, keep good records, and the problem will go away.

As to getting a lawyer, call her bluff.
