I need some help.
I am Australian citizen and my ex is permanent residence.
I have separated for 18 month, my spouse went back oversea 18 month ago. We have no kids.
I paid my lawyer $3000 in advance. She is processing everything very slow. She just lodged divorce application on 19 Nov. 2019- after 3weeks of first consultation/payment. Now my first hearing is on third week of March 2020- 4 months waiting.
I searched online and found that waiting time is usually 8 weeks. I want to sort it out Asap. Can anyone Pls. advise if 4 months waiting is time normal.
