So if you're not de facto then this is a property law matter I have no idea how that would work out BUT in family law he definately isn't gonna get half.

This doesnt mean anything.

No difference between de facto and married couple. This is a family law matter.

GL1001 - you have missed the point. To be de facto the relationship needs to have been 2 yrs. That doesn't appear to be the case here - hence (arguably) not family law.
