WA had 1 week lockdown this month and my child care centre refused to take my enrolled child even though my husband is essential worker and I work for local government. But they are charging us for it (all be it holiday rate) but I still had to take leave to care for my child. I have asked several government departments, my child care provider and regulatory bodies what the law stated about fees for the week but everyone is hand balling me to other departments. Can anyone shed some light as to why i might have to pay for a service I was refused?
