Hi Steven,

You will need to attend court to answer and explain why you broken your probation conditions.

It is not possible to anticipate what the court will order because it depends on a number a factors, including:
  • Why you broke probation conditions
  • The offence committed (nature, seriousness, any victims involved, who the victims are)
  • Your prior criminal history
  • Your personal background (family, dependants, education, employment etc)
  • Whether you have broken probation in the past (how long ago, why, offence, how many times)
  • Your conduct in court (e.g. showing of remorse and admission/taking of responsibility)
The court will weigh all these factors up. Your job is to explain to court why you did what you did and how you feel about this now.
