NSW Charged and Acquitted of Assault - Appear on National Police Check?

I was found guilty of assault, however on the appeal (which took two years to be heard), I was acquitted of all charges. Will this be detailed on a national police check for a local government position?

Hi Cavalier,

My understanding is that only findings of guilt will be disclosed when a national police check is completed.

As you were acquitted of all charges it should not appear on a national police check.
