Hi,
I went through a 12 month relationship with a single mother and typically became step dad the whole time, investing a lot of time and money into the two people. We lived separately.
She had an affair for 3 months and I still wasn't aware when we broke up.
We got back together after 2 months apart, when, one month in, I found out about the affair and we broke up again.
I subsequently had an STI test and now have HSV-2 for life.
I also have tests that are clear prior to that relationship.
Do I have any legal grounds to sue?
And with much chance of success?

You can potentially sue for medical costs, not the cheating.
