VIC Breach of Intervention Order - Will Sentencing be on the Same Day?

Hello.

My ex partner got a summons and got charged for breaking the intervention order. When he goes to court for the breaches, would he get sentenced the same day and what general happens? Will there be a different day for sentencing?

If he pleads guilty then sentencing would occur on the same day (in the vast majority of cases)
