What is the relationship between the job poster and the platform Airtasker. They seem to be saying that once a tasker (who completes the task) and poster have agreed, the contract is between the two and nothing to do with Airtasker. However, they take 15% of what I as job poster pays at completion of the task.
  1. Is Airtasker not my agent?
  2. What happens if the tasker claims to complete the job but is not according to me? Airtasker seem to wash their hands leaving the two parties to dispute.
  3. When I objected to demands of payment due to incomplete job, the tasker sent abusive emails. Airtasker engaged in a mediation kind of process where they asked me what I was willing to pay but I have heard nothing.
