We lent money to a fellow about 19 - 20 years ago , in return we insisted he sign a letter acknowledging the amount he owed plus he gave us an old car of his as security, we hid the car .(still well hidden ).no registration papers tho.we were / are only a family business However over the years whenever we asked this fellow to repay this debt he would come up with some excuse & never paid us anything whatsoever.
We never hassled him like some stories you read about . Just recently we have been getting some out of the ordinary visits by men asking about my husband& seeing that this fellow had a chequered past I am a little worried. Can we just sell this car to recoup some of our debt without any ramifications on us ?
