QLD Slipped at Shopping Centre - Compensation?

I slipped on a grape at a major shopping center in Cairns. This caused a torn Meniscus that will require surgery. Can anyone tell me how I can request CCTV footage from center management?

I am retired so would it be worth pursuing compensation for pain and suffering/Medical costs?

Dear Paul,

You should ask for CCTV footage from the shopping centre management.

Although you are retired, you can still claim for Medical and hospital costs, Home help you have received (eg; cleaner coming to clean house or even family member helping) and Pain Suffering (depending on the severity of your injury).

I have requested CCTV footage and was refused "Sentinel is unable to release the CCTV footage as it is a breach of privacy legislation under these circumstances"?
