Hi I have a court date in august. this is my first offence and I have never been to Traffic Law court so I was wondering if there is anything I need to take with me into the court room? If someone could help me that would be fantastic

Go to the courthouse a few days before your date,
and have a conversation with the Duty Solicitor.

Hey Brent. It is required that you bring the CAN (Court Attendance Notice). If you are there as you feel the fine was out of line, then I suggest you begin preparing as if it were a speech. This will allow you to say everything intended as it is easy to forget particulars in the formality of a court room.
