QLD Who Can Put Dates on Wills?

Hi there.

My husband and I took our Wills to be witnessed and signed by two JP's. One of the JP's went ahead and dated our Wills (in three places). I thought that we had to date the Wills ourselves. (All that was needed was the "3rd" inserted. September and 2016 were already printed.) Are these legal?

As long as the wills are dated on the day they are executed and that date inserted is correct, it doesn't matter who physically writes it in.
