Sometime this year, when I was rushing to catch up with my train, I forgot to turn on my go card and that got me a fare evasion warming from the department of transport and main roads. I was never fined or charged to court.

I am currently a student but wants to apply for a permanent residency visa. I am wondering whether it will show up in my police certificate as a recorded offence.

Thanks

Very much doubt it. I qualified as a lawyer with fare evasion fines to my name. obviously I can't state it with absolute certainty but if a fare evasion warning is the worst you have done, you don't have anything to worry about in terms of character.
