Hi,

My husband 14 years ago had a court order for DNA testing for Child Support. We now require a copy of the DNA certificate. Child Support say they do not have one & we just seem to be getting the run around. Would the courts still have one?

Legally someone must have a verified copy...

Did your husband have a solicitor? You may wish to try them as your first point of call.

Unfortunately not. It was all done through Child Support & the Courts but it was 14 years ago so he doesn't remember which court asked him to do the DNA..

There are not that many types of courts. Ring the registrar in each type of court (eg Family Court, Federal Court etc) and ask them the question.
