I have been working from home for over a year now, up till now our company has daily hook ups with us by zoom for communication purposes etc.
The company now is demanding its staff to install a new app where we are live on camera for the whole working day on a live feed.
Its a sales environment and I am wondering if this is taking micro managing too far, is it legal for the company to demand this request ? I feel it is an invasion of privacy to have a camera on me all day.
Could you please help me out on my rights as to whether I have to oblige

Partly depends on which State you live.

If in Vic the request to monitor your home is likely unreasonable.

If they want to monitor your work at home there are far less intrusive ways to do so.
