Hi,
Is there any legal ramifications to using a publically listed company annual report data to create a dashboard and share on social media (example below)?
Also am I able to name the company in the social media post? e.g. Transforming X company annual report into a dashboard.
I have put a disclaimer at the bottom of the dashboard stating that it is an interpretation and I do not speak for the company or the brand and source of the date.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

My thoughts (not a lawyer) ... If the data is available free on the public domain, not subject to any copyright, then there shouldn't be a problem.

I would be very careful of adding any personal comment or 'interpretation' though.. That is potentially where you could come unstuck.

A company annual report is a document in which copyright accrues.
