SA Traffic Expiation in SA for foreigners

Hey community,

I am an Austrian backbacker and desperate about a 814 Dollar fee because of speeding (27km/h too fast). I cannot affort this high amount and now I am wondering, if the authorities can get money from me as a foreigner? And if I get problems, the next time I come to Australia? Is this kind of fee limitated of liability in time?
