A solicitor represents two respondents in a case. If the solicitor is disinclined to entertain an offer of settlement to one of the respondents because it is not in the interests of the other (more important) respondent, can the applicant demand the settlement offer be passed on to the respondent or should the applicant attempt to communicate directly with the respondent?

You're the applicant?

Maybe make two offers, one to each respondent, separately,
even if they are identical.
