QLD Recovery order time for return after court

My ex has applied for a urgent recovery order and we have court soon. My question is I've been unable to find out what the time frame is if it's granted. Will I only have a few days with my children??? Thank you

The timeframe is unknown. It may not even be heard for six weeks, or it could be as little as a week.

Why on Earth would you just take your kids instead of following the proper avenues for remedy?
