A friend of mine received a charge for property damage which he received no conviction for. He has been placed on a 12 month good behaviour bond. I wanted to know if an employer does a police check in these 12 months and after 12 months of good behaviour, what information will they be able to see. Can an employer refuse employment based on this? Also is there a period of time which he can wait for it to be expunged or completely removed from his police check. And lastly, does it affect overseas travel?
