My partners ex wife is disputing their obligation to pay 1 term of private school fees for their child. The court stamped court orders state he responsible for 3 terms and she is responsible for 1 term. She is arguing that her copy of the orders contain a hand written amendment that she is only responsible for primary school fees not high school fees which our child started this year. The handwritten addition about primary school doesn't appear in his copy. Is it possible that court orders can be made on copies that differ from each other in error?

Isn't it equally possible that she has made a fraudulent hand written amendment to the stamped order?

Thanks for your response, It is possible, hopefully not. We are requesting a copy from the court portal to rule the possibility out or in and go from there. It is a very difficult situation that has been ongoing for years.

Make sure you have that in writing.

We have it in an email along with a photo of the amendment that has been sent through. I'm not sure how to deal with either end of the spectrum.

Once you get the court copy, have your lawyer write a letter saying she must pay, and that if she wants to take it further then her altering a court record as 'her evidence' is producing a false document and likely deception for financial advantage and that is a crime.
