What would the charge be if someone made counterfeit money and then used it to by goods and sell those goods? Also what would the sentence be like?

And sentences can be cumulative (ie 10 yrs + 10 yrs).

One case where someone in 2010 was caught with the means to make fake money and about $32,000 in fake cash received a 4 yr 3 mth sentence in NSW.

Many cases involve other offences like drugs and firearms.

One guy had 51 fake $1 notes in 2016! Why?

The hard part is not making the money, it is spending it without being caught.
