Good evening,

I'm wondering what the legal ramifications of criminal law would be if I sold counterfeit illegal drugs. For example, if I combined baking soda and an oral numbing agent and sold it as cocaine, or sold pure salt as crystal methamphetamine to someone, what would the legal implications be in Queensland?

Yours Truly,

Depending on the facts and circumstances,
you could be looking at (at least) a charge of
Obtain Financial Benefit By Deception
(by whatever name that offence is formally known in Queensland)

I had thought that pretending to do some crimes is still the crime and not relevant if the substance is cocaine or baking soda.
