My brief of evidence was supposed to be served today but no dice. I'm not keen on the police having more time to prepare a case against me, I'm not guilty and without being arrogant both of us know I'm not guilty and it was a bad arrest so I don't want them having any advantage of time to bolster themselves in a case against me.

How can I hold the police accountable for their tardiness and am I in a position to request the charges be dropped. Who do I contact? I'm only using Legal Aid and am happy to call the courts myself if that's what you do... not too sure of which department to contact.

Thanks in advance,

Jess
