Before moving into a property in a new estate i noticed a large area of painted and semi-concreted markings on the road outside an adjacent empty block that looked like a form of hopscotch. Worked out that it was created by the kids living in the street. Now as we move into school holidays i'm seeing white lines painted across the road outside my property by same kids. Although it frsustrates me as it makes the road look scruffy, the bottom line is whether this behaviour of marking the street is something i have to put up with or is it actually illegal? My neighbour has resorted to parking their car out on the road to ward off the line markings from their road frontage. Guidance appreciated
