Is a Double Egg Chair Actually Comfortable for Two Adults?

Double hanging chairs look considerably roomier, but I'm wondering how comfortable they are when two adults use them at the same time. Do they work well as genuine two-person seating, or are they better as an extra-spacious chair for one person? The collection includes both single and larger two-seat designs.

Reviving this thread because I’ve actually tried a double egg chair with my partner
They look roomy, but two average-sized adults can feel squished unless you’re both comfortable sitting really close. The curved sides don’t leave much legroom - definitely more of a snug cuddle seat than a lounging-for-two option
If you want genuine two-person seating, consider a double swing bench instead

I used a double garden egg chair from a store that has lots of options. My partner and I sit in ours often; it’s roomy but you do sit close. Works fine for relaxing, just not for lounging separately
