NSW Intellectual Property Law - Using Quote in a Commercial Product?

Hello,

I'd like to have your opinion on something.

I would like to use the quote "The obstacle is the path" on my product (not printed on a t-shirt, it would be included at the very bottom of the product). The source of the quote seems to be a zen proverb. Do you think I can use it under Intellectual Property Law?

I am in doubt.
