NSW Indecent Exposure by Neighbour - Go to Police?

Hello,

I was wondering if, under Australian Law, I can still go to the police for the lewd and indecent behaviour of my neighbour from inside his property from a year and a half ago. Is it too long?

Were you on private property when you could see him? Or in a public space (eg footpath)?

Generally people are allowed/assumed to have privacy when on their own property and can do acts that would otherwise be indecent in public or seen from a public space.

You need to be careful that you are not seen as a peeping tom which is an offence.
