Got fined today 101 in a 90 was what I was told. I didn’t say anything to the officer at the time but was sure I was in a 100 zone. On inspection on my way home I was in fact in a 100 zone. I have photographed the last speed zone sign I passed on the trip to town just prior to being pulled over. How should I proceed?

Hello,

Just make sure it is a 100 zone, sometimes the last speed sign may not relate to certain road in the traffic infringement. How did the officer determine your speed? by radar ?
Confirm that the area where the traffic infringement occurred is in the speed zone you know and technically you are over speeding (101 - 100 = 1), best way after you confirm, contact legal aid, they have traffic lawyers and will be able to provide a better advice on how to proceed.
I hope that helps.
