Just wondering if anyone has come across this before.
If an Independent Children’s Lawyer (ICL) previously worked for the same law firm that’s representing one of the parents in a family court matter, is that something they have to disclose?
Would both parents normally be told about it, or is it only an issue if they actually worked on the same case?
Also, if it wasn’t disclosed and you only found out well into the proceedings, is there anything you can do about it?
