WA How to Get Charges on Criminal Record Wiped?

I have just received my criminal police record check and it has charges of hindering a police officer and resisting arrest from 17 years ago. Is there any way I can get these wiped?

I thought after 10 years your criminal record can be wiped. I am going for a government job and even though these charges were from that long ago they obviously don't look good. It was when I was young and stupid.

You can definitely apply to have that spent and you are 100% correct you could have done it 7 years ago. You will need to send this form to the WA Commissioner of Police https://www.police.wa.gov.au/~/medi...viction/Application-Spending-a-Conviction.pdf
